The A-Line product range has a proven track record in a wide range of challenging environments. The addition of a luminaire suitable for zone 2 and 22 hazardous areas enhances its position as a first choice for applications where durability and integrity are paramount.

A-Line EX is a surface-mounted linear luminaire rated to IP65 and IK10. It is both impact-resistant and fire-retardant, comprising an extruded aluminium body and polycarbonate cover with a discreet radar sensor mounted within. Using high-frequency, penetrative 24 GHz radar ensures effective presence detection up to four metres without needing an external sensor or a cut-out on the cover. This technology maintains the luminaire's IP rating and hazardous compliance. Presence detection and daylight switching control the light output, saving energy when the area is vacant.

SmartScan provides comprehensive lighting oversight via a secure online platform. This web-based control panel enables users to monitor performance, schedule emergency tests and observe space use via occupancy profiling. Additionally, integral wireless SmartScan emergency options are available as standard for the luminaire.
