Realta – classic outdoor luminaire updated and upgraded

The Realta external amenity luminaire has earned its status as an iconic Thorlux product, having been installed in thousands of applications worldwide.

Thorlux is proud to present an updated and upgraded version of this best-selling luminaire – more compact, lightweight, and vandal-resistant, with outstanding energy efficiency and performance.

Significantly, when mounted at a 0° tilt, the Realta now emits zero upward light, enabling its use in a broader range of environments, avoiding glare, and limiting its impact on local ecosystems.

With a durable high-pressure die-cast aluminium body and a redesigned, one-piece light engine, the updated Realta has a simple three-TORX screw installation. Switching to a single over-moulded, one-piece cover has reduced plastic use by 67% while ensuring precise lighting control. The updated Realta is available in 9 W and 18 W versions, in both wide and area lighting distributions.

Improvements in LED design and production allow an outstanding 162.8 LL/CW maximum output with luminaires that can be spaced up to twenty metres apart. This allows for greater budget flexibility and improved lighting scheme uniformity.
